A brief outline of the Bible studies so far is as follows:

#1- Why do we read the Bible? To encounter the Living Word.  2 Peter 1:16-19, emphasizing "until  the day dawns and the Morning Star (Jesus Christ) arises in your hearts." Also read the mistake many Bible believing Christians make, same as the Pharisees, in John 5:39-40

#2- What role does our will play in the Christian life?  Romans 7 proves its futility--- Responding vs. Initiating, John 5:19,30, Phil 2:12-13

#3- What role does our mind play in the Christian?  Occupation with Christ-  2 Cor 11:1-4, 2 Cor 10:5, Rom 12:1-2

#4 How do we experience victory over sin?  The Wings of a Christian- Rom 6:1-13, focus on 6:6, examining the Biblical view of the Nature of Man, tri-part being, Heb 4:12, 1 Thess 5:23, Rom 8:10

#5 What is it, then, that we, are "doing" every day?  Beholding- 2 Cor 3:18, Our Role in Sanctification!

    And, What, then, is Our Standard? What are (or is) the rules (or rule) we wake up to and live by everyday? The "new creation", Gal 6:15-16 "this rule", Phil 3:15-16 "our standard".
